Q&A
What is your favorite sports team?
Dale: The Los Angeles Lakers
Janet: Red Sox
Cheryl: The Carolina Panthers
What is a skill you’d like to learn and why?
Dale: My computer skills need some work. I would like to be able to enhance my skills in order to perform different aspects of my position better.
Janet: The Piano – it is soothing and speaks across all language barriers.
Cheryl: I read and write French on a basic level, but I would love to increase my fluency in the near future.
If you could eat dinner with someone past, present or future who was not a family member who might they be?
Dale: Martin Luther King Jr. The man had a way of speaking that influenced and excited people. The tone of his voice and the way he delivered a speech was mesmerizing. I would have loved to have heard him speak in person.
Janet: Eleanor Roosevelt – She was such an activist not only for women in the workforce but all minorities. She helped create the U.N. Universal Declaration for Human rights and pushed for global peace. She was a force championing for the underdog and making a difference!
Cheryl: I wouldn’t like to have dinner with one person. I would, however, like to be in the room with Picasso, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and other phenomenally creative people that hung around Gertrude Stein’s house in Paris in the 1920s. THAT would be an interesting evening!
